For our team in Leonberg we are therefore looking for a

Logistics manager (m/w/d)

Responsibilities:

Operational coordination of logistics services with the selected freight forwarding partners
Planning and evaluating transports incl. insurances
Carrying out customs clearance and completing shipping documents and export licences
Coordinating shipping dates and obtaining delivery confirmations
Coordinating goods-in and goods-out together with site logistics, suppliers and customers
Coordinating the compilation of shipping units
Preparing export documents (commercial invoices and packing lists)
Coordinating customs clearance and on-carriage for imports
Coordinating container deliveries from the port tot he project-specific destination in consultation with site management

Qualifications:

Successfully completed degree in the field of logistics or completed training as an industrial computer scientist/ engineer or a comparable qualification
Relevant professional experience in logistics (material flow and process planning)
Analytical thinking, structured working
Confident handling of common IT applications and good technical understanding
Sound knowledge of logistics processes
Basic knowledge of merchandise management
Sound knowledge of relevant customs regulations
Very good knowledge of German and English (written and spoken)
